Enjoy this special selection of our Red Hills reds - three of our favorites!
- Our 2012 Red Hills Red Wine is a classic Rhône blend. Dark ruby and youthful in color the wine offers a kaleidoscope of aromas—the clove, smoked ham, and the pepper of Syrah draw you in, but the lavender and floral notes of Grenache and Mourvèdre soon warrant attention. The bright lively structure with its blueberry and anise flavors is impeccable, and the wine finishes with a dash of black pepper and great length. This wine will gracefully age for many years.
- The 2013 Red Hills Mourvèdre is unique, sultry, and exotic. Medium ruby in color, it offers floral, elusive, and perfumed aromas of pink peppercorn, wild raspberry, anise, and cardamom. Similar flavors explode on the palate with a velvety and balanced mouth-feel supported by a lively structure. The finish goes on and on. This is definitely a wine with a personality all its own.
- Our 2013 Red Hills Zinfandel comes from a spectacular mountain vineyard at 3000 feet elevation on Cobb Mountain. Medium ruby in color the wine offers notes of white pepper, herb, allspice, and raspberry. Aromas lead to similar flavors in a lively and refreshing structure not often seen in this variety. This is an easy, palatable ode to classic Zinfandel!
